Dr. Claudia Roda is a practicing chiropractor and the Assistant Director of Clifton Hill Chiro, in Avon, Ohio. She is also a practicing osteopath. Robyn Coates is her practice director. They both work together at Clifton Hill. Dr. Claudia specializes in prenatal care, chiropractic, dentistry, geriatrics, infertility, pediatrics, and family health. She has been doing this for the last thirty-five years.
Robyn specializes in chiropractic, focusing on the nervous system and how it affects the well-being of the body and mind. This is something that is just now getting recognized as a legitimate practice in chiropractic medicine. The chiropractor’s philosophy believes that the body is capable of healing itself and should seek out treatment when needed. Robyn hopes to expand on the practice of chiropractic and take it to new levels in order to help more people and make more money.
In the summer of 2021, Robyn and Clifton Hill Chiropractic had a new website put up, a mobile responsive website. It was supposed to be their new way of reaching out to clients and incorporating new ways of engaging with them through emails and text messages. There were new phone services that were also added, including voice mail so that clients could leave voice messages. The site also included Robyn’s line of credit, which helped her to be able to purchase items on credit if needed.
On this new website, Clifton Hill Chiropractors was able to advertise a great many things. They advertised events such as conventions, seminars, training, and workshops, seminars and conventions where they could advertise for free. They even advertised events where they would be giving away discount cards to interested individuals, or discount cards to all clients of Clifton Hill Chiropractors. There were also several advertisements that said something to the effect of “Cleveland Ohio chiropractors are dedicated to giving you the most superior health care possible, so come see us at Clifton Hill!” As a result of all this, many people were drawn to check out the site.
When a customer wanted to see Robyn at her chiropractic office in Cleveland, he sent an email to the site’s contact form, attaching his printed business card. The email included his name, address, phone number, along with his request for a discount to Clifton Hill chiropractors. When the person received his discount card, he was extremely impressed and now has a regular appointment with Robyn. He states that he feels better now than he has in years, and has found his favorite book, “How To Stop The Insomnia,” is read every day by his wife. The story of Robyn’s email to the site is one of the most inspirational and unbelievable things I have ever heard. It’s amazing how even an ordinary story of a regular person reaching out and trying something new can make a difference in someone’s life.
When Robyn returned to her cottage in upstate New York, she put the gift on her desk and went to work on her new business venture, which she calls “Chiropractors Helping People,” not long from now. In about a month, Robyn’s website had completely revolutionized the way her customers viewed chiropractic care. Soon, her “chiro” would be on Facebook as well, with the typical American flag image showing up.
Robyn had intended to open a chiropractic center in her new home in Australia, but her original business plan got scrapped when her phone number did not work with the cell provider. She has now moved to Geelong, a city in Victoria’s Barwon region, along with her husband, Mark. They are hoping to attract patients from the United States and Europe by offering more high-end services and a more personal atmosphere. Their website is also getting a lot of traffic, which they attribute to the constant visits by international tourists who take advantage of cheaper flights to Australia.
The website states that Robyn specializes in sports injuries, including shoulder pain and neck pain. She offers treatments for minor problems as well as more complicated issues like hernia and hernias. Chiropractors in Australia offer various treatments, such as chiropractic adjustments, acupressure and herbal medicine. Robyn has taken on the role of Australia’s first full-time chiro, which is an unusual designation given only to professionals in the medical profession. Her goal is to make the experience as personal as possible for her patients, something she intends to do both in her professional and personal life.
